Refinery Tracker is a free public outage and operating-status tracker for refineries worldwide. The map, status pages, plant records, RSS, and CSV downloads stay open. There is no paywall and no gated feature set. Revenue, when it comes, is sponsorship and ads only.

Who this fits

Vendors whose buyers already watch turnarounds, flaring, and capacity offline: turnaround and inspection contractors, flare and emissions-monitoring technology, refinery services, trading-data and analytics firms, and energy recruiters. If your product or service is bought by people who track plant status, this audience is the point.

Inventory

Available now or soon:

  • Site sponsor slots on the landing page, /status, and /map. Clear label, reserved placement—not a popup and not mixed into the data.
  • A sponsored slot in the free daily or weekly email alert list (status changes with capacity offline in barrels per day). The list is still being built; the slot ships with it.
  • Later: a monthly exclusive “presented by” sponsor when traffic justifies a single-brand run. Not offered yet.

Indicative prices

These are test ranges, not a published rate card. Final numbers depend on placement, run length, and list size.

  • Site sponsor: $300–$1,000 per month.
  • Newsletter / alert-list slot: $100–$500 per issue, depending on list size.

Data licensing and custom reports

Secondary to sponsorship. The public site stays free either way.

  • Status feed / API licensing (history CSV or JSON) for analytics firms, newsletters, and consultancies: about $1,500–$4,000 per year.
  • Custom regional outage or turnaround reports, priced per scope.
